COMMUNITY GARDEN
Women grow organic fruits, vegetables and herbs using purified gray recycled water to sell back to the camp. Surplus foods are distributed to families, school lunch programs, emergency food distribution programs, and dried naturally in our solar dehydrator to store for times of food shortages in the villages.

Schools receive material support and benefit from a bursary program, which supports qualified students with secondary school fees.
Conservation Support to community conservation programs such as habitat restoration.
Health Care: Our clinic/dispensary provides free medical care to employees and community members.
Self-help groups: Self-help groups and women's groups are supported to promote independence.
Humanitarian relief: Emergency relief in times of severe distress such as prolonged drought.
Employment: Full and part-time staff as well as tourism enterprises, such as furniture-making, construction, organic farming, and other ventures to support the camp provide income to local communities and families.
